Grade 4 – 6<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The Intermediate Phase is where learners’ develop a deeper understanding of crucial life skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, critical thinking and how to communicate appropriately. Our teachers make an effort to build upon what students have been taught in the Foundation Phase.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • English (Home language)<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Afrikaans (First additional language)<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Mathematics<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Natural Sciences and Technology<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Social Sciences (History and Geography)<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Life Skills (Creative Arts, personal & social well-being)<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Physical Education<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Computers Lessons<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Bible<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Extra lessons are also offered after school.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    During the year we have some fun days planned for our Intermediate Phase, these include:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    • Action attraction fun day<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Valentines’ and Spring picnics<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Prefects are selected in term 1<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Tour (Grade 6)<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Concerts<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Talent shows<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Prize giving – All learners are invited, as every learner receives a Christian character certificate<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n
