They are actively involved in teaching the learners the importance of sportsmanship. We also compete competitively against other schools. Sporting activities include the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Netball<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>We offer the opportunity for girls to develop their netball skills. Grades 1 to 3 participate in mini netball and learn basic ball skills. Our U\/10 to Open teams participate in the league and play against other schools.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Athletics<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Our athletics program consists of sprints, long distance, cross country, relays, shot putt and long jump. Our season culminates in an annual event at a sports stadium, which Agape hosts at the end of the 3rd term. We take pride in hosting this event.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Cricket\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Batting and bowling techniques are developed. Learners take part in matches and tournaments throughout the first and last terms.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Tennis<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>We offer tennis to our intermediate and senior phase learners. Tennis is a great way to stay fit and have fun.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Soccer\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>We offer junior and senior soccer coaching. Learners take part in games and tournaments throughout the second term. Soccer is a popular sport amongst Agape learners.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Swimming<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>In a team of selected swimmers, learners participate in gala&#8217;s against other schools as well as the Inter House and Inter School Gala&#8217;s. Agape is very competitive and is an established force to be reckoned with amongst larger schools.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"row\"  id=\"row-1131206596\">\n\n<div class=\"col small-12 large-12\"
